Horrible customer service

Tried to return an item and the service person wasn't helpful at all and tried to put it on me that Overstock droop the ball and lost the item I returned. Had to call my CC company and do a charge back

Horrible

They refused to take a return of a large expensive item, that is useless to me as it does not fit in my space. They were totally unaccomodating, not helpful at all, and basically said they would not take the return after initially saying they would. So now i am stuck with something i cannot use, and out alot of money. They suggested I resell it. Imagine. I have never been treated so badly by any company. I would never ever buy anything from them again, and would never recommend them to anyone.

I returned a 8×10 rug

I returned a 8×10 rug, not opened mind you and it cost $199, I got refunded $38. This is just way beyond unacceptable. I've ordered other items and have been totally satisfied, but their customer service is a joke!!!!

AVOID OVERSTOCK.COM !!!

Dishonest company who will NOT back their products. I bought a desk from them for 500 bucks and it took me 12 hours to assemble and when it was complete, this thing was the biggest piece of crap that wabbled and nearly fell apart every time I touched it! The company said if I wanted to send it back, the return label would cost me another 200 bucks!!!! Avoid this company. There are too many other reputable sources for what you're looking for!

Horrible company people please do not use them . I made a mistake to purchased a tv stand i made sure to pay it off in a little less than 3 months and then 6 months later they sent me a new bill saying I need to pay it ..

There should be a 0 review-that's what I would have given.
Overstock prices go up & up & are not commensurate with other retailers.
The quality of Overstock products continues to go down-way down.
Most of the furniture comes from 3rd party sellers-basically China. No such thing as craftsmanship or quality. I recently received an accent rocking chair that...- I'm at a loss as to trying to describe it. It looked absolutely used, & in poor condition in every way from faded fabric, splitting seams to stains everywhere. It was just filthy. I don't know how they can call themselves a legitimate company. NEVER AGAIN!

What a joke
Ordered a sectional and it was stuck in the shipping process for a month. When it finally shipped we had a delivery date and time no show, no call had to call the shipper and overstock to get no answer or no resolution. Shipper claims it was sent to wrong warehouse overstock has no explanation even though this is there contracted shipper.
Bottom line I know it's COVID, storm in Texas and the Suez Canal but over 6 weeks with no explanation or end in sight.
DON'T BUY FROM OvERSTOCK

I tried canceling an order that hadn’t even shipped - I received an email that it wasn’t possible and when I called customer service I was told it would cost me over $180 to return. This is unacceptable for a product that hasn’t even shipped yet and when I asked if I could start the return process to just hand the driver the paperwork when they showed up, I wasn’t given a clear answer. I tried explaining my situation but their process needs a lot of work. I’m extremely disappointed.

Rug and Guardsman Warranty: Worthless

I purchased a large area rug from Overstock and bought the warranty with it. After the rug was destroyed from a plumbing leak, Guardsman, their warranty company refused to cover it. They don't cover it it's an act of God, like a real flood, and they don't pay if it's a plumbing leak. They only cover if you damage the rug from a spill!? How crazy. The rug is destroyed and whether it is or isn't an act of God you are not covered. Period. Everyone who has reviewed Guardsman has never been paid. Overstock is bad because they associate with a company, who they share profits with, who never pays a claim. I'm not shopping there anymore. It's a huge ripoff.

The worst experience

Ordered makeup table from them. Arrived very poorly packaged, half of the parts missing, almost all present parts chipped, mirror broken.

RETURN POLICY SUCKS

RETURN POLICY SUCKS! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! I wish I’d looked at this review site before I ordered! 82% rate this company badly! I ordered 2 large floor vases which were nice but not in my house, the color didn’t look right! In trying to return them I found out I had to pay the shipping. Could have done the membership thing to avoid that. But then I’d have to order from them again as I would get a “store credit”! I declined that option because what if I don’t like something else!?! Then I find out I have to drop of the packages. I live in a rural area and shop on line a lot. I don’t return a lot, but when I do return to AMAZON the UPS guy picks up at my house and I’ve never been charged for that!

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. After three weeks delay, I received my order torn and broken on several sides as you can see in the pictures. I reached them and asked d for refund, but they asked me to send it back for them and pay for shipping. It is haveay and large and I can't take it to post office and also pay for something that is not my fault. They also gave me second option to keep it and they will refund just 15%! Which is totally nonsense! Because it is so damaged that it is impossible to use and I have to dump it!
I emailed the International customer service several times but the no response yet!!
This company is a scam
